Richard was born in July 1969 and was raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas. His parents are Mearl Strunks and Sharon Loop. Richard graduated from Southside High School in 1987. He attended the University of Arkansas Little Rock and received a bachelor's degree in political science and criminal justice in 1992. He then attended the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, where he received his law degree in 1995.
Richard began practicing law in August 1995 as an associate for the Law Offices of Joey McCutchen and was a partner with McCutchen Sexton Strunks the Law Firm until February 2009, when he realized his goal of owning his own law practice.
Richard's practice has included personal injury, automobile accidents, social security disability cases. Richard is also experienced in all types of domestic relations matters, including divorce, custody, adoptions, visitation, and child support cases. Richard also represents children as ad litem attorney in custody related cases. Richard also handles criminal defense and drafts wills for his clients.
Richard is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and is licensed to practice in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Richard is married to Christina, and they have two daughters: Emma and Erin.
